The upcoming Bollywood film, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani," directed by Karan Johar, may have drawn inspiration from the real-life relationship of Bollywood power couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna. In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Karan Johar revealed that his interactions with Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna may have subconsciously influenced the storyline and characters of his new directorial venture.

Karan Johar acknowledged that the deep and genuine friendship within Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's marriage might have served as a source of inspiration for the lead characters in his film. He shared that he has spent time dining and hanging out with the couple and has observed a remarkable camaraderie between them. Akshay finds Twinkle hilarious, and she reciprocates the sentiment, albeit for different reasons. Karan Johar believes that their relationship demonstrates that love can transcend societal boundaries and expectations. He emphasized that people often confine themselves to certain comfort zones when seeking a relationship, but love can unexpectedly blossom anywhere.
